The Consul General of Japan and his wife visited the Marukome USA factory and showroom.

March 25th: Consul General Sone from the Japanese Consulate in Los Angeles visited our showroom and factory, accompanied by his wife and two other consuls.
The group enthusiastically listened for an hour and a half while learning about Miso and Koji, asking a variety of questions. During the miso tasting, they enjoyed a miso-containing appetizer that was well-suited for the American table. They also showed great interest in the miso production process at the factory and left feeling very pleased with their visit.
With the cherry blossoms outside the factory in full bloom, we were honored to welcome them.
